LIFEBRIDGE’S MISSION:
To CONNECT people to God,
developing their RELATIONSHIP with him and his family
so that they will boldly REPRESENT God in this world
and assume RESPONSIBILITY for the spiritual growth of others.
This cycle continues to feed into itself and never ends.
Our outreach strategy has a four-fold focus:
1) LOCAL MISSION: We don’t need to get more involved in the community – we’re already in the community. Every attendee at LifeBridge is networked in their community through their jobs, family, friends, neighbourhood, and community activities. Our challenge is not to become more active in the community, but to show each Christ follower how to shine in the communities they are already a part of. As a church we will then provide opportunities for people to connect others to the broader family of Christ. ( Sunday Connection Service, Social Events, Parenting and Marriage Seminars, etc.)
2) CHURCH PLANTING: Church Planting is one of the most effective ways of impacting communities. Church plants allow for more diversity within the kingdom of God in both style and approach. LifeBridge would like to be consistently creating new teams to go out and plant new churches in areas of the HRM that do not have a strong church presence.
3) POVERTY FOCUS: Jesus cared about the poor, we must as well. At present our poverty focus is centred on the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras where we collectively support children through Compassion International and partner with Manos Extendidas for a multifaceted impact.

4) UNREACHED PEOPLES: Christ commented that he would not return until all nations had the opportunity to hear. Statistics on www.joshuaproject.net indicate that there are still 6, 938 people groups in the world that do not have a solid representation of Christ in their demographic. Most dollars in churches in North America go to providing for the already convinced. In other words, we’re servicing ourselves. We think it would be a good idea to strategize and invest in how we can get the Good News to those who have never heard.
We have developed a 5 year small group discipleship strategy to help people grow in spiritual maturity to accomplish these goals. See our Growth Group page for details.
