LAST SUNDAY (April 22)
We discussed the idea of PARTNERING together to accomplish our mission. There is a difference between people who are supportive and people who really say I’m a part of the team who want to make things happen. Which are you? We invite you to become a LifeBridge Partner.

THIS SERIES IS SO IMPORTANT WE ASK YOU EITHER ANY MISSED MESSAGE at www.Lifebridge.ca

THIS COMING SUNDAY (Apr 29)
This Sunday we will discuss our 4-fold Outreach strategy.

LIFEBRIDGE MINISTRY FOCUS: SUNDAY SET-UP TEAM
Do you know that people serve you every week by arriving Sunday mornings at 8:20am to move tables and chairs and set up everything we need to make the Sunday experience happen. People don’t do this because they are passionate about moving chairs, they do it out of a passion to see God’s church be effective. We can ALWAYS use more people to help in this area. If you are not presently doing anything to contribute to the work of LifeBridge and would like to get involved in a little way, why not join the Set-Up team and help out once a month. If you are interested, speak to Patrick Connor.

We need 4 people to come forward to be workers who will commit to being on a set scheduled. If you are willing to serve on a Nursery team once every 4 weeks, please speak to Brenda Bourgoin THIS WEEK.

At present, unless things change, there will be NO NURSERY provided on the following dates:

June 17, 2012
July 15, 2012
August 12, 2012

POTENTIAL NURSERY NEED FOR THE FALL
Brenda and Tony Bourgoin could potentially be transferred away fromHalifaxin August. If this happens it will leave a huge void in the leadership of the Nursery. If you think you would be interested in directing the Nursery Ministry next Fall, please speak with Brenda.

Network is a course designed to help you start thinking about how God has designed you to fulfill a specific role in his kingdom. This course will look at your God given personality, spiritual gifts, and passion to help you focus in the right direction. Belief is only the first step of our journey – serving others, in the way God designed us, is how we are to live.

WOMEN’S FALL RETREAT
The committee planning the Ladies in Fellowship Together (LIFT) Conference held in late September every second year is having a women’s clothing sale on May 12 from 8am to 12pm at Regal Road Church. Tina Bezanson and  Tricia Mugridge are members of the planning committee.
The committee is setting up a sponsorship fund to provide financial assistance for women to attend the conference.  We are asking for donations of gently used women’s clothing, shoes, jewellery and purses to assist with this endeavor. If you would like to donate these items you can contact Tricia at 434-5498 or Tina at 435-4686.You can also make a donation directly to the fund. The LIFT committee does not have a charity number so would not be able to provide a tax receipt. We thank you for your support and hope to see you at the sale.
